I was in Dress Rehearsal earlier today and saw a lovely salmon pink cotton dress, but just my luck, they didn't have my size! Since I was only in Liverpool for the day, and live in Leeds I was told to look online but you don't seem to have the dress I saw today, are you still uploading new stock onto the site?

Dress Rehearsal is actually a private self-managed business and not part of Sainsbury's, although we have traded from Sainsbury's for a total of over 25 years. We are sorry that you are not happy with Sainsbury's, we are also disappointed in the condition of Sainsbury's Store, but we understand that it is ear marked for a refurbishment in the near future. You may send your views in to Sainsbury's regarding their store. I'm sure they will appreciate your comments.

I love the fashion at Sainsbury's Woolton Branch-Dress Rehearsal is the only thing worth visiting Sainsbury's for- but, I do think it's a bit out of place in Sainsbury's. I think Sainsbury's store is Crap- the store is falling to bits with hardly any food on the shelves. Yet, they have fashion that I would expect to find at the Trafford Centre! Is Dress Rehearsal an experiment by Sainsbury's ?

Thanks for those great comments about our website models. Yes- not everyone realises that the models are genuine real employee's at Dress Rehearsal until they come into Dress Rehearsal and meet the girls for themselves. We did not want to use models- we wanted to keep everything that we do self -contained within our team. So, our models are "Real Women" in every sense of the word and the rest of us here at Dress Rehearsal agree with you- lets all watch out for the next "Real Women" and try to pursued them all to enter !!! Hope they don't all win tho... we won't have anyone to serve you !!!

I was watching Colleen's "Real Women" last week and I thought of the girls who do the modelling for Dress Rehearsal's website. I know that they are genuine "Real Women" as I buy from Dress Rehearsal every week and I know the shop and the girls who work there so well. Any one of the four girls who model on the Dress Rehearsal website could have won that show easily especially the Avon Cosmetic show. So- go for it next time girls !!!

In answer to your question below:- Yes... we will have our Velour Track Suits in- we hope, before Christmas, which is when we will get our 1st delivery of Knitwear & Casual Ranges for Spring '08.
Yes- it looks like Sainsbury's will stay as they are for now at least. Sainsbury's are attracting a lot of interest from investers because they are becoming very successful again & customers are starting to return. Although this Woolton store is still quiet because it is in need of a complete refurbishment, which we are told will be happening soon.

Will Dress Rehearsal have any Velour Track Suits in this Autumn ? I usually buy 3 or 4 in different colours when I come back home to Liverpool to take back to the U.S. I can't get the same fit & quality over there.
PS I'm glad that Sainsbury's didn't get taken over- I would hate to loose Dress Rehearsal- this website stops me from being so home sick- I love it... loads of choice & dead easy to use- even for me...!

Will Sainsbury's be putting more things into this Woolton Branch when they modenize this store, which I've heard they are planning ? I love the Dress Rehearsal range that sainsbury's have in this store, but they don't have enough food on the shelves in this branch or all the things for the home & a coffee shop... etc... so I have to drive to Tesco when I only live accross the road from this Sainsbury's store. Please give us more things to buy !!!!

We would also love to see a Starbucks at Sainsbury's Woolton Store, we really miss the little Coffee Shop that we had in our old Dress Rehearsal before we moved inside Sainsbury's. Sainsbury's do have plans to refurbish this store here in Woolton- let's wait & see what ideas their store designers come up with. I'm sure that Sainsbury's do realize the potential here in Woolton. I shop at Tesco or Sainsbury's in East Precot Rd as the Woolton Sainbury's don't always have the things in that I need. But, I like the clothes that the Woolton Store have & it's great that you now have this website as I can see what you have in before I make the journey up to Woolton. Wish Sainsbury's had a Coffee Shop though- a Starbucks, like they have in some of their stores would do really well in Woolton.

Pleased to hear that you like the website and YES... you may email your order through and avoid the P&P if your Sister will collect for you.
We are finding that our local customers use the website as a home brochure and either email, or ring us with their order and then, call in to try-before-they-buy. It's a handy way to see what we have in and the sizes that we have it in !!! We get two deliveries every week on Monday and Thursday and it's added onto the website at the week-end.
Nice to see customers retuning Val.

Just wanted to say thanks for your help last week when I left the Jacket that I had bought in your Changing Room & you posted it on to me- the Jacket arrived the next day !!! I had not been to Dress Rehearsal for about 6 years since I moved up to Yorkshire. I came to Woolton to see my Sister & it was nice to spend a few hour at Dress Rehearsal together- (miss the coffee shop you had in your old place tho) Great to see you now have a website !!! I really like the way it's done with no frills or gimmicks... If I see something I would like to buy on the website- may I email the order thru to you & then my sister will collect it... it will save me the P&P is that ok ? Thanks again.

Dress Rehearsal is not actually part of Sainsbury's, we are a privately owned business and we are actually the only independent business in the country, to be inside a Sainsbury's Store. We have decided to expand the business via this website, which has only just recently been launched to test the market. We can see big improvements in availability at Sainsbury's- but, we understand what you mean, as this store is not big enough to carry their full range at present. But, it's worth a visit to the Woolton Store- just to be able to pop into Dress Rehearsal... is it not ???

In reply to your qestion below- Yes, we are pleased to be able to offer larger sizes this season. Nearly everything will now be available in size 8 up to size 18.
As far as "Sainsbury's take over" is concerned, we have a very long and unusual lease- here inside Sainsbury's Woolton Store. So, any "take over" of Sainsbury's will not effect Dress Rehearsal.
It is because Sainsbury's are starting to see customers returning to their stores that they're looking very attractive to investers, and this can only be good news for Sainsbury's and for Dress Rehearsal too !!!
